Capture White Space is built to WCAG AA. That is a standard we test against, not a badge we display.

What it means on this site today: semantic HTML with one heading order per page. Every link, button, and field reachable and usable by keyboard, with a visible focus state. Text that resizes with your browser settings, because nothing here is fixed in pixels. Colour contrast at or above the AA ratio for all body text, on a palette of six values. Descriptive alternative text on every image that carries meaning, and none on decoration. No autoplaying media, nothing that flashes, and motion that stops when your operating system asks for reduced motion.

Forms label every field, report errors in words next to the field, and never rely on colour alone. Links say where they go. Every page is readable with JavaScript off, because the pages are rendered on the server before they reach you.

Some of it is design rather than compliance. One typeface, set large, with a line length of about sixty-eight characters, because long lines are hard to track. One accent colour per page, so a link or a button is never competing with decoration. Square corners, no shadows, no gradients, nothing that moves unless it's the one element meant to. Type never animates. These choices were made for calm; they turn out to be what accessibility asks for too.

We check with a keyboard and with automated tools before a release. Automated tools catch a fraction of real barriers, so if you meet one they missed, that report is the most useful thing you can send us.
